No guilt, no regrets

I've finally figured out that guilt and regrets do absolutely nothing to enhance your life.  All they do is block your potential and the things God has for you.  Remember God loves you and there's nothing you can do to stop that from happening.  Accept how powerful God's grace is and all it can do in your life. 

The Adventure Starts Today!

Well a lot has happened in the past three days.  I met a guy on Thursday, quit my job packed up and moved on Monday!  I have a lot to share with everyone, can't wait to get started.  Stay tuned.

Progress

Well, I've been doing more writing and drawing as of late.  I also found a really nice website called smashwords.com that lets you publish you're own e-books for free!  I really wish I knew about it sooner, this opens up a lot of doors for me.  Hope to make something happen soon!

Bumps in the road.

So I had three part time jobs lined out so that once I quit my job that I had been at for almost 4 years I would have an immediate source of income.  But, somehow two out of the three jobs fell through.  I was feeling a little down but a quick talk to my best friend/cousin helped me out and gave me some positive advise.  I'm not a 100% sure what road I'm going to take but I think a move may be in my near future.  I just have to find a way make some money to have my bases covered in case anything happens.  Wish me luck.  While the devil may try to knock me down, I will find a way to reach my dreams and goals that God has for me.   

Great vacation.

I got back from visiting my family in Washington D.C. and I had a really good time.  I had to quit my job to go on the trip but I really hated my job so I'm okay with it.  I was working at Dish network and while I really like the people I worked with the job was just mentally draining.  Now its time to believe God that I made the right choice.  First is promote my novels, try to get this comic out as soon as possible and move forward.  I hope to do some more book signings soon and expect to see me more active on Facebook, Twitter, and in the community of Bluefield and Princeton.  Keep following, more to come as the new year arrives!

Change is in the air.

Well, I have a lot going now.  I'm in the middle of a change that will affect my life.  I'm hoping thing will work out but you can never be sure.  I'm going to making a big push to promote my books now that I'm going to have the time.  I realized that no one is going to just give it to me, I have to be aggressive to make things happen.  That's going to mean a coming up with a marketing strategy  and solid financial plan to get myself out to the public.  I feel like I've been slacking and now that I've cut some dead weight I'll be able focus and make a positive change in my life.  Sorry I've been away, but unfortunately I'll be away again soon.  I going to see my family in D.C. for thanksgiving!  I haven't seen some of them in years so I'm excited.  My push will begin November 28th.  Hope you stick around to see what I have planned.

Nex book signing

I'm going to be at Empire Book Store in Huntington this Friday and Saturday November 18th and 19 signing copies of my novels Ezra's Burden, and Vegas Baby and the Great Red Spot!  Hope to see you there!  Also doing my best to carve out so time to get working on a comic for Vegas Baby.  Wish me luck.
